Whitmore Lecture
2012
The Hon. Mr Michael Kirby AC CMG will deliver the sixth annual Whitmore lecture on the subject of “The Duty to give reasons revisited”. The lecture is to take place on Thursday 3 May 2012 at 5.30pm in Court 1, Federal Court of Australia, Queens Square Sydney. Members of COAT NSW Chapter attend at no charge. Non-members and guests attend at a cost of $50 or $25 for students. All are welcome. [Flyer]

The Hon. Justice Sackville QC AO delivered the fifth Whitmore lecture addressing a paper entitled “The Constitutionalisation of State Administrative Law” [paper]

The Hon. Justice Ruth McColl AO delivered the fourth Whitmore lecture on the topic of “Freedom of Information a new paradigm” [paper]

Professor John McMillan, Commonwealth Ombudsman delivered the third Whitmore Lecture and spoke to the topic of “Can Administrative Law foster good administration” [paper]

The Hon. Justice Garry Downes AM delivered the second Whitmore Lecture and presented a paper entitled "The Tribunal Dilemma: Rigorous Informality"[paper]
